Red Date Goji Berry Tea is a simple infusion tea of two powerful little fruits! I’m sure most of you have heard of goji berry, since it’s widely touted as a superfood. These little red berries have been used in Chinese Medicine for thousands of years as medicine. Red dates are the dried version of the jujube fruit. They look like drier versions of prunes, smell like rich creamy molasses, and have a pleasant natural sweetness to them.

Red dates and goji berries are perfect for building Qi and Blood, which translates to glowing skin!

There is a saying in Chinese about red dates - “if you want good skin, put red dates in your porridge!” (要想皮膚好,煮粥放紅棗)In Traditional Chinese Medicine, red dates fortify your Stomach and Spleen Qi, meaning that your digestion becomes stronger. How to make Red Date Goji Berry Tea?


My mother taught me to soak the red dates and goji berries first for about ten minutes, but I skip that step when I am in a rush and the results are still the same 😁

  1. Gather 3 red dates and cut them in half. They are pitted usually, so watch out! Sometimes I am super lazy and just bite them in half 😝
  2. Take a small handful of goji berries (20-30 berries)
  3. Throw them in about 500 ml of water and bring to a boil
  4. Reduce to a simmer for 10 minutes
  5. Drink the resulting liquid like you would a tea or water throughout the day
  6. Drink everyday for a healthy complexion!
My experience with Red Date Goji Berry Tea

This tea is a daily must for me. I make it as soon as I wake up and take it with my breakfast. It has a pleasant natural sweetness and I look forward to my cup every morning 😋

I used to be very Blood Deficient - my hands and feet were constantly cold, I had a listless and sickly pallor, and my skin looked dull. Since regularly taking this tea, I look a lot more healthier and it’s definitely my secret weapon for making my skin glow 🙆🏻
